It has already been revealed that the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order DLC characters will be pulled from the Fantastic Four, X-Men, and Marvel Knights franchises. At the time of writing, the full extent of the heroes from these series that will be coming as Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 DLC has not been confirmed, but the characters that have been announced are included in the list below.

To note, the MUA 3 DLC characters will come as part of the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Expansion Pass, which can be purchased for $19.99. This Expansion Pass will give fans access to all of the planned post-launch DLC heroes, and there will not be an option for players to purchase individual Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 DLC characters. It is all or nothing when it comes to DLC for MUA 3.

Cyclops

Announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, the founding member of the X-Men, Cyclops, is confirmed as one of the DLC characters for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. Cyclops will be available on August 30 as part of a free update.

Colossus

Announced alongside Cyclops, the Russian mutant Colossus will join the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order characters as post-launch DLC. As with Cyclops, Colossus will be released with a free update on August 30.

Blade

The first Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 DLC pack, which will be released to those that purchase the Expansion Pass, will focus around the Marvel Knights imprint, and the vampire hunter Blade will be one of the characters included in this first pack.

Moon Knight

Another character coming as part of the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Marvel Knights DLC pack, the wealthy martial arts expert Moon Knight is confirmed as DLC for the new co-op superhero game.

Punisher

The Punisher is a brutal vigilante, and he is coming to MUA 3 as a DLC character. The Punisher will be added alongside other Marvel Knight heroes.

Morbius

Morbius is yet another Marvel Ultimate Alliance DLC character that is coming with the Marvel Knights pack. Morbius’s history with Blade makes him a sensible choice to be added alongside him in the first MUA 3 DLC pack.

Currently, it is unknown exactly how many characters will be added to MUA 3 as DLC. That said, considering the depth of the source material that is available, fans could be seeing a significant increase to the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 roster, which includes the recently confirmed Loki, over time.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order releases July 19 exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
